
After back to back wins over Notre Dame and Boston College, Virginia looks to add another conference victory and stay near the top ACC standings. They will host Pittsburgh tonight and the Panthers have been one of the worst teams in the ACC so far this season.

The Cavaliers are 3-2 in their last five games against the Panthers and 8-2 in the last 10. UVA has won nine of the last 11 contests in the series. Virginia is ranked No. 18 in the latest AP Top-25 poll and has been ranked in each of the last nine polls. UVA’s No. 14 ranking last week was its best since a No. 14 ranking on March 13, 2023. UVA returned to the AP Top-25 rankings (No. 24) on Dec. 8 for the first time since its No. 21 ranking on Feb. 17, 2024. UVA received votes in the preseason AP Top-25 poll.
