One of Texas' top targets in the 2026 recruiting class is five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo.

The Lake Ridge (Mansfield, TX) product participated in the Rivals Five-Star Challenge this week alongside several other blue-chip prospects in the class. Unfortunately, Ojo seemed to have a poor showing.

Several clips from the camp were shared across social media showing Ojo struggle with some of the top defensive talent in the country. The reactions pushed Ojo to release a statement shortly after.

"I am who I am and I stand on everything I've said up until this point. One bad day don't define me nor undermine my skill/talent," Ojo said via X. The awareness and positive outlook from his unexpected performance is promising.

Ojo is ranked the No. 1 offensive tackle in the nation and the No. 2 overall prospect in Texas for the 2026 recruiting class, according to 247Sports. Texas and Ohio State are the two primary schools battling for his recruitment at this time. He's expected to announce his commitment sometime in July.

Texas currently owns the No. 10 recruiting class in the country led by five-star quarterback Dia Bell, five-star athlete Jermaine Bishop, and four-star edge Richard Wesley. The Longhorns are also trending in the right direction for several other blue-chip recruits in the class.
