When it comes to offensive line recruiting, Notre Dame assistant coach Joe Rudolph has been stellar since he arrived in South Bend. The 2026 recruiting class is in a great place, already holding commitments from Tyler Merrill, Gregory Patrick, Ben Nichols, and Sullivan Garvin. Each player is rated as a four-star by at least one of the major recruiting platforms.
Notre Dame could stick at four offensive lineman in the 2026 class and be in a very good place. They do, however, want to take one more player. That is 2026 Glenside (Pa.) La Salle College offensive tackle Grayson McKeogh.
A massive riser in the class, McKeogh has been busy selecting between some impressive suitors. The three main schools to know are the Fighting Irish, Penn State, and Texas. Notre Dame gave McKeogh their pitch over the weekend, and now they are left to wait, but not for long.
The talented offensive tackle announced over the weekend that he has a commitment date set for July 1st. McKeogh will be selecting between the three schools.

There are a lot of good vibes out there concerning Notre Dame’s chances with McKeogh coming out of the most recent visit. Despite that, I still remain skeptical he opts for the Fighting Irish in a few weeks.
There is one final official visit set for McKeogh this weekend, although I’m not that worried about the Longhorns. The bigger concern is, and has been, the Nittany Lions. There is an obvious big pull from the folks around him to eventually end up in Happy Valley.
Perhaps it’s because of a Penn State media platform announcing the commitment date, but there is just some hesitation I’ve always had between McKeogh and Notre Dame. We will see how things unfold over the next few weeks. As of today, I wouldn’t pick the Fighting Irish to win out.
The Pennsylvania native now ranks as a four-star recruit on the 247Sports Composite ranking. That rating has him pegged as the No. 262 overall player, No. 20 offensive tackle, and No. 7 player in the state of Pennsylvania in the 2026 recruiting class.
McKeogh’s offer list has also continued to expand, and the demand has risen. Some of the top programs who have offered McKeogh includes the Fighting Irish, Ohio State, Ole Miss, Penn State, Missouri, Wisconsin, Michigan State, Pittsburgh, Indiana, Boston College, Syracuse, Northwestern, West Virginia, Rutgers, Duke, Wake Forest, USF, and Liberty.
