The Ohio State Buckeyes were expected to begin hosting high school prospects when the program held its first spring practice on Monday. But four additional four-star prospects were in attendance than were initially expected for the team's first spring session.
On3's Mick Walker reported on March 16 that edge rusher Jake Kreul, offensive lineman Da'Ron Parks, wide receiver Jalen Lott and linebacker Storm Miller were all set to attend Monday's practice. All four prospects have received four-star ratings.
Kreul and Lott highlight the quartet. Both Kreul and Lott are top 100 prospects overall in the 2026 recruiting class according to the 247Sports composite rankings.
Kreul is the most highly regarded prospect of the four players. The Florida recruit is the No. 5 edge rusher and No. 37 overall prospect in the 2026 class.
The 247Sports composite rankings considers Lott an athlete. The rankings placed Lott No. 4 among athletes and 66th overall in the class.

The 247Sports Composite Rankings has Parks rated a top 20 interior offensive lineman in the 2026 class. Like Kreul, Parks is also a top 50 Florida prospect.
Both Parks and Miller are top 350 recruits overall in the 2026 class. From Strongsville Ohio, Miller is the No. 25 linebacker and No. 17 Ohio recruit as well.
The Buckeyes began their spring practices on Monday. As the program did Monday, Ohio State should have plenty of top recruits in attendance throughout the spring.
