The Ohio State football team has a player who is on the cover of the new college football video game. EA Sports College Football 25 will come out in July. We found out what the cover of the game will be a few months in advance though. It will be a bunch of different college football players instead of just one as it used to be.

For the Buckeyes, Quinshon Judkins is the representative. That’s interesting because he hasn’t even played a down for Ohio State yet. He just transferred in during the offseason. I thought that was a strange decision until I learned how Judkins, and every other college football player, got onto that cover.

Ohio State football player Quinshon Judkins signed a separate NIL deal to be on the cover of College Football 25

Apparently, all of the players who are on the cover signed a separate NIL deal in order to get themselves on the cover. My guess is that they signed it with EA Sports directly. The terms of those NIL deals have not been released. It makes sense now why Judkins is the Ohio State football player who is on the cover.

I, like many college football fans out there, can’t wait for the game. I have already put it on my wishlist for the PS5. Once the game comes out, a lot of people are going to be playing it. A lot of Ohio State football players will as well. College football players across the country will get to play as themselves for the first time in a decade.

How well the players do on the field will affect their rating on the game throughout the year too. So if Judkins and other Buckeyes play well throughout the year, they will be even better in the video game. It’s a cool moment for Judkins to be the first Ohio State cover athlete in the history of this game.
