Ohio State Gets Good News on Coveted Player

The Ohio State Buckeyes have already landed two four-star offensive tackles in the 2026 recruiting class. The Buckeyes have also successfully recruited a three-star interior lineman. Ohio State, though, is a final school for another top offensive tackle in the class.

On3's Hayes Fawcett reported Wednesday that four-star offensive tackle Samuel Roseborough has the Buckeyes in his top final five schools.

Along with Ohio State, the Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies, LSU Tigers and Florida State Seminoles make up Roseborough's top five.

Standing at 6-foot-5 and 260 pounds, Roseborough is a Clearwater, Fla., native. Interestingly, Ohio State is the only school remaining on Roseborough's list which isn't in Florida or the SEC.

On3 projects the offensive tackle to hold an NIL value of $107,000.

According to On3, Roseborough is the No. 7-ranked offensive tackle in the 2026 recruiting class. The 247Sports composite rankings, though, consider Roseborough an interior offensive lineman.

Based on the 247Sports composite rankings, Roseborough is ranked the No. 16 Florida prospect and No. 130 overall recruit in the 2026 class as well.

Of the 12 verbal commitments the Buckeyes have received in the 2026 recruiting class, three of them play offensive line.

According to 247Sports, the top two Ohio State offensive line commits for 2026 are offensive tackles Maxwell Riley and Sam Greer. Both are ranked four-star prospects. Riley is also considered a top 100 recruit.

The Buckeyes have received a verbal commitment from three-star interior offensive lineman Tucker Smith as well.
