The Ohio State Buckeyes will get a head start on the 2027 recruiting class this month, particularly at tight end.
Four-star tight end Brock Williams told On3 last week that he will visit Columbus, Ohio during the first week of June.
"Four-star Libertyville (Ill.) tight end Brock Williams tells Lettermen Row that he plans to visit Ohio State from June 6-7," wrote On3's Mick Walker. "Williams will be on campus the same time as four-star Huntington Beach (Calif.) quarterback and Buckeye commit Brady Edmunds.
"The two have been in frequent communication over the past few months."
Ohio State made its offer to the 2027 tight end prospect in January.
On3 ranked Williams as the No. 1 tight end in the 2027 recruiting class. According to other rankings, Williams is the No. 2 tight end in the class.
Based on the 247 Sports composite rankings, Williams is the No. 2 tight end but a five-star prospect.

As expected because he's a highly regarded recruit, Williams has received dozens of offers according to 247 Sports. But the Buckeyes may be an early favorite for the top tight end.
Williams told On3 his first visit at Ohio State in March went "amazing."
“The thing that stood out the most, how I was treated and how many of the recruits were treated. All around an amazing visit," said Williams.
Standing at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, Williams will play his final two high school seasons for Libertyville in Illinois. The top-rated tight end also plays defense for his high school team.
