Ohio State reportedly will wear a classic look for CFP Championship game against Notre Dame

The Ohio State Buckeyes have been soaring through the postseason. They were doubted against top-ranked Oregon. Then, they had naysayers entering the Texas matchup.

Now, they face the Notre Dame Fighting Irish for all the marbles in college football. For the CFP Championship game, they'll reportedly 

Buckeyes to wear throwbacks vs. ND

According to Andrew Lind, Ohio State will where the road set of its "Heritage Stripes" throwback uniform. The Irish will wear navy blue jerseys. 

It'll be a unique but classic look that has been seen by all of their fans over the years. Ohio State is 3-4 in CFP matchups when they wear this type of throwback uniform.

If the report proves true, it would mark the eighth time the Buckeyes will have worn the throwbacks for a College Football Playoff game. The team has worn both the red and white versions of the “Heritage Stripe” jerseys for these games, and as they are the lower seed (with Notre Dame wearing their blue jerseys), the white throwback will be worn on Monday night. -- UniWatch
