The reigning four-time national champion Oklahoma softball program announced its 52-game 2025 regular season schedule Thursday.

The Sooners’ 2025 schedule includes 10 games against last season’s Women’s College World Series qualifiers, 18 contests vs. NCAA Super Regional teams and 31 matchups with NCAA Tournament clubs. Nine of OU’s 2025 opponents finished last season ranked among the top 25 in the final coaches poll, with another two receiving votes.

Oklahoma opens its title defense on Feb. 6 with a pair of games at SDSU Softball Stadium in San Diego, meeting CSUN and San Diego State to begin a six-game road trip in California. OU will also play Cal Baptist, Cal State Fullerton, LMU and Long Beach State over Feb. 6-9. The Sooners continue non-conference action on the road in Waco, Texas, Feb. 15-16 when they play Hofstra and Baylor twice each.

OU begins a 13-game homestand with their home opener on Feb. 20, welcoming Abilene Christian and Wichita State to Love’s Field. The Sooners will also host Bowling Green, Tulsa, UMKC, Kansas and Marshall over the course of two Love’s Field tournaments Feb. 20-23 and Feb. 28-March 2.

Head coach 's squad begins its inaugural SEC campaign with a home series vs. South Carolina March 7-9. Oklahoma then plays back-to-back weekends on the road at Arkansas (March 14-16) and Missouri (March 21-23) before welcoming Tennessee to Love’s Field March 28-30.

Oklahoma starts April with a conference bye weekend, then returns to league play with an April 12-14 road series at Alabama. Back-to-back home series vs. Mississippi State (April 18-20) and Texas (April 25-27) are followed by a May 1-3 trip to Florida for the regular-season finale.

The 2025 SEC Tournament is scheduled for May 6-10 at Turner Softball Stadium in Athens, Ga.

OU will play non-conference midweek contests throughout the SEC regular season. Those games will be at Tulsa (March 12), vs. East Texas A&M University (March 19), at Wichita State (March 26), at UT Arlington (April 1), vs. St. Thomas (April 4) and vs. UCF (April 4-5). The Sooners will also meet Oklahoma State for a neutral-site game April 9 in Oklahoma City at Devon Park.

Game times, ticket information and television assignments will be announced at a later date.

Oklahoma returns eight players for the 2025 season, including 2024 All-American Ella Parker and 2024 freshman All-American Kasidi Pickering.

OU earned its NCAA-record fourth straight national championship last season while going 59-7 (.894) overall and 22-5 in Big 12 play. It opened Love's Field to a record-setting season attendance figure of 108,156 (4,326 average) and enjoyed a perfect 5-0 postseason at its new home.

The Sooners led the country in 2024 in wins and on-base percentage, and ranked in the top five nationally in several categories, including home runs, doubles, batting average, slugging percentage, OPS, shutouts and fielding percentage. OU recorded 27 run-rule victories and 23 shutouts while going 38-6 against Power Five opponents.
