Amber Glenn got to a strong start in her Winter Olympics debut, winning her first-ever Olympic gold medal in the figure skating team event. The United States finished with a score of 69 points, edging out Japan by just. And Glenn was able to add eight points to Team USA's final score after the women's singles performance in the final.

But Glenn was not done there, as she also competed in the women’s singles short program alongside fellow “Blade Angels” members Alysa Liu and Isabeau Levito. Although she qualified for the free skate, she scored 67.39 in the short program, placing 13th. And despite delivering one of the stronger free skate performances, Glenn was only able to climb to fifth overall, falling short of a second gold medal.

While Glenn may have completed her final competitive event at Milano Cortina 2026, she is not done skating just yet. On Friday, the Olympics announced that she will perform in the figure skating exhibition at the 2026 Exhibition Gala. The event is scheduled for Saturday at the Milano Ice Skating Arena, one day before the closing ceremony.

The event will "feature the entire podiums of all three completed figure skating events, namely women and men's singles, pairs and ice dance." Along with Glenn, other figure skating stars performing at the Gala include Liu, who won the women's singles event, Team USA’s Ilia Malinin and Japan’s Yuma Kagiyama and Shun Sato.

"The line-up for one of the most anticipated showcases of the Olympic Winter Games - the Figure Skating Exhibition at Milano Cortina 2026 - has been released, and it includes a stellar cast," the Olympics wrote. "Olympic champion Alysa Liu (United States), and Japanese silver and bronze medallists Sakamoto Kaori and Nakai Ami will represent the women's singles, along with Amber Glenn (USA), Adeliia Petrosian (AIN), two-time European champion Niina Petrokina (EST) and Lee Haein (KOR)."

The Exhibition Gala will begin on Saturday from 8:00 to 10:30 p.m. local time.
