Orange Beach’s 2028 tight end, Lee Steele continues to prove why he’s one of the top young prospects in the state of Alabama.

Steele already holds offers from Alabama, Auburn, Tennessee and several others. LSU is the latest program to jump on the Steele train.

Following a visit to Baton Rouge, Steele spoke highly of the Tigers’ atmosphere and hospitality.

“The visit was great, honestly, the best atmosphere in college football,” Steele said. “They treated me like I was already committed, and they made sure I was taken care of. Coach Atkins offered me after the game and told me they see me as a prospect similar to Tray’dez Green. I love how they use their tight ends and how flexible they play them. This was absolutely incredible to be at and to experience.”

With his recruitment heating up and multiple SEC programs in pursuit, Steele’s stock is expected to continue to rise as one of the more promising prospects in the 2028 class.

The 6-foot-6 prospect has the potential to keep growing into an impressive tight-end prospect. His size will allow him to be a mismatch against smaller defensive backs and the way he is able to move will make him challenging for linebackers to cover. Steele feels these were traits that led to his Alabama offer.
