The much-anticipated release of EA Sports College Football 26 is only a few weeks away, and the hype machine continues to build as we get closer. EA Sports has released some deep dive content about updates, and we're getting early rankings and positioning entering Year 2 of the now-annual release.
There's always a lot to balk at if your prospective is finding slights, but sometimes it's fair to be upset. Oregon Ducks fans are experiencing this in the game's newest drop, which is a ranking of the hardest places to play.
Oregon ranks ninth, with Autzen Stadium's home-field advantage trailing some surprising programs.

Oregon has lost just one home game over the last four seasons, a 37-34 shootout against Washington in 2022. The rest of the 26 games in Autzen? All wins, including their 32-31 upset against No. 2 Ohio State last year.
That record is better than anyone else's in the same stretch. It's stunning to see mediocre programs like Florida and Oklahoma ahead of Oregon when you consider recent success.
The aftermath of that Ohio State game plays a part in Oregon's gripe. The Buckeyes were stunned at how well Oregon's crowd disrupted their game, not only through noise but even unrelenting engagement. Media members and members of the Buckeyes program were aghast at the activity and effects of the crowd, which is saying a lot considering they play in front of 100,000 people every home game.
Autzen is a smaller stadium, fitting just under 42,000 people, but it's built to amplify the noise.
Hopefully, EA Sports recognizes the huge discrepancy and boosts Oregon closer to or into the top five home advantages across the nation.
