The Orlando Magic signed big man Moe Wagner to a one-year $5 million contract on Friday morning. Wagner saw his regular season cut short after suffering a torn ACL in December. He was averaging a career-high 12.9 points per game and a career-best 36% shooting from downtown. Will Wagner continue playing well with the Magic?

Orlando Magic Season Outlook

After earning the No. 7 seed in the Eastern Conference, the Orlando Magic have gotten considerably better this offseason. Their marquee move was acquiring Desmond Bane from the Memphis Grizzlies in a blockbuster trade. Wagner will play alongside his brother, Franz , Paolo Banchero, and Jalen Suggs.

Final Thoughts

Moe Wagner is a great signing for the Magic. He will look to build upon his career season with the team during the 2025-26 regular season. In a wide-open Eastern Conference, Orlando will enter the year with lofty expectations. Only time will tell if Orlando can live up to them.
