The second night of the OTE season kicked off with an all-timer, as the City Reapers took on RWE in a rematch of the 2024 OTE Finals. A game that swung back-and-forth all night, which included a 17-0 start by RWE, ended with a couple of clutch buckets from the Reapers in the final minute to earn them the 97-93 victory. Kole Grandison served as the hero for the night, scoring the last four points for the Reapers on his way to a career-high 18 points and seven rebounds

A hot finish to the game from Amari Evans saw him finish his night with 23 points, seven boards and five assists including some clutch buckets down the stretch. Meleek Thomas was no slouch either, scoring 18 points of his own and pulling down 12 boards for his second double-double of the season

For RWE, Taylen Kinney’s scoring prowess was on full display as he scored 26 points, putting the ball through the hoop from all over the floor. Jasper Johnson kept RWE in the game until the very end with 20 points and seven assists, including a tough and-1 bucket to knot the game up at 93 apiece

In the second game of the evening, the YNG Dreamerz rode a blistering hot first half, in which they scored 62 points on 45% shooting from deep to a 123-85 win over the Cold Hearts. The Dreamerz knocked down 23 triples in this contest which ties the single game record for most three-pointers made in a game in OTE history. The Ellis brothers, Eli and Isaac, were unstoppable combining to score 53 points as they have been the driving force behind the Dreamerz 2-0 start to the season

Kohl Roasrio had his best night in a Dreamerz uniform, scoring 24 points and recording his first double-double of the season with 10 boards. Taj Walters put together another strong night with an all-around stat line of five points, six rebounds and six assists ️

For the Cold Hearts, Adam Oumiddoch put together one of his best scoring nights of his career with 22 points. The league’s leading assist man Wei Zhao had another beautiful night of dishes as he distributed the ball to the tune of ten assists, the most any player has recorded in a game this season

In Lincolnton, NC, Fear of God Athletics recorded their first win as a member of OTE with a 85-80 win over Jelly Fam. Sophomore Cayden Duaghtry put on a show, scoring a career-high 38 points locking him in as the early front-runner for this year’s Next Up award ☝️

In the second game in North Carolina, the Blue Checks moved to 2-0 on the season thanks to a comeback 82-79 victory over the Diamond Doves. Kaden Magwood and Josiah Parker continue to serve as a dynamic duo, combining to score 48 points in a dominant effort from the two of them

The OTE season keeps on rolling next Friday in OTE Arena, as Jelly Fam comes to town to take on the Cold Hearts at 7 PM on YouTube and that game will be followed with the debut of Fear of God Athletics in Atlanta as they face off with the City Reapers at 9 PM on Prime Video
