'People will see your corruption' – Haney vs Garcia’s $85 million payday invokes SCATHING message to Dana White from Mark Hunt

Ex-UFC heavyweight Mark Hunt and his exploits are wildly famous. However, his verbal banter against UFC boss man Dana White remains noteworthy. Hunt has pinned Dana White for fraud, battery, aiding and abetting battery, and civil conspiracy claims many times now. He now thinks the recently publicized Ryan Garcia vs. Devin Haney boxing purses show how UFC is financially low-balling the roster.

Garcia, at 25-1, 20 KOs, dominated Haney en route to a points win this April 20 on DAZN. Coming in 3.2 pounds over the limit (143.2 lbs), he had to compensate a mandatory bracket of $1.5 million accordingly. However, even then, ‘King Ry’ reportedly made $50M on his social media handles, while Haney reportedly made $35M. Mark Hunt went on a tirade upon witnessing the payout.

This is why u will be fired u bit*h @danawhite…there has never been one MMA fighter to make this kind of money for a fight filthy degenerate swine may 8th is the date people will see your corruption and all those filth u had conspire with u #CIVILRICO #pro se litigant #dasseeiiiittt #cryisfree Mark Hunt via X

White’s extended part in the TKO Group Holdings came as yet another low blow to Hunt. Former UFC fighters Cung Le and others acted as plaintiffs (Case No. 2:15-cv-01045-RFB-BNW) for a UFC Antitrust lawsuit had it gone to trial. Hunt had hoped it would prove that UFC engaged in anti-competitive conduct. Previously, a U.S. District Judge snubbed his claims of White knowingly pitting him against athletes with performance-enhancing drug usage.

The huge payday differential in boxing and MMA is not a new topic. However, not all believe it to be true. Post Garcia-Haney, in a recent ‘JAXXON’ Podcast episode, Quinton ‘Rampage’ Jackson floated the idea that only the 1% top tier boxers make millions. Hunt’s unwavering grudge for White and Co. stems from his own righteousness as a fighter over the years.

Mark Hunt gives the scoop on bribery to take a dive in Aussie fight

Most fight fans will know that professional combat sports aren’t exactly squeaky clean. Issues like crooked or biased refereeing and betting scandals are always possible. But there’s those straight-edge few like Mark Hunt that do not tip-toe around controversy.

The ‘Super Samoan’ often feuds with former boss Dana White on malpractice claims. He even claimed such practices of bribing off his lawyer on one of his recent litigation losses last year. More recently, he received bribes to lose a fight on purpose.

I’ve been in a battle with billionaire companies and I don’t have their money, But I’ve always been one for saying if things aren’t right, they aren’t right... You know, I was offered three or four million dollars to take a dive in a fight here in Australia...And I said ‘are you serious?’ I said no because that’s just not me, although I could’ve done with the money, I was going through some hard times with a separation...hat’s just not my character, it’s not me. Hunt has fought seven times in Australia during his 29-fight MMA run. He has also competed in boxing bouts with Paul Gallen and Sonny Bill Williams in Sydney in 2020 and 2022, respectively. He mentioned that this was the first time he ever received such an audacious offer, but he rejected it despite needing the enormous amount of money.
