Phoenix Mercury and Mountain America Credit Union launch historic naming rights partnership

PHOENIX — The Phoenix Mercury and Mountain America Credit Union have announced a multiyear naming rights partnership for the Mercury’s new practice facility and the Jr. Mercury Legacy League, Arizona’s first all-girls youth basketball league.

The team unvieled the partnership on its X (formerly Twitter) account Wednesday afternoon, showcasing that the faciility intends to grow the game of basketball among girls in the state.

“It’s more than a name on a building,” Merccury writes. “It’s a promise. A space built with intent and purpose. The Moutain America Performance Center is not just for the Phoenix Mercury but for every young girl who dares to believe she belongs.”

Josh Bartelstein, Phoenix Mercury and Suns Chief Executive Officer, expands on this new partnership on a media post, stating that this commitment is to elvate women’s sports.

“From adding Mountain America’s name to Mercury’s world-class facility to their support of the Jr. Mercury Legacy League, this parternship focuses on empowering female athletes and growing women’s basketball at all levels.”
