This isn’t Post Malone’s first rodeo with the gaming world, in case readers are curious (we certainly were)! He recently worked with Electronic Arts (EA) for a crossover with Apex Legends. The hit performer is a game nerd in his own right and spent time streaming Apex, Warzone, and Hunt: Showdown to thousands of his fans.

A recent press release from Mike McCabe, the COO at the Esports World Cup Federation, says this:

And this comes just one week after Cristiano Ronaldo—yes, the legendary soccer player extraordinaire—revealed his own ambassadorship with the Esports World Cup! So the esports world and the gaming world in general are getting some pretty impressive names to their roster of celebrities!

Opening Ceremony Hype

So you can expect that the opening ceremony for the Esports World Cup will be nothing short of amazing! Especially with last year’s opening event being over-the-top as it was (not that that was a bad thing, ’cause you know we loved it)!

It’s going to be the starting call for a 2-month-long, never-ending rush of esports action with teams coming from around the world! So yeah, the opening should be just as momentous as the whole event itself.
