Cartersville (Ga.) High School has a wide receiver product in its 2025 class that has caught the notice of the Ole Miss Rebels.
Jamauri Brice was offered by the Rebels this week, and he sat down with FanNation on SI to discuss the step in his career. Brice has over a dozen Group of Five offers, but now that the Power Five notice has started rolling in, he feels that his work is paying off.
"I didn't expect it to hit me this fast, but glad it is," Brice said. "It's amazing and exciting to pick up offers knowing you'll have different opportunities at different programs, but I just appreciate all the coaches taking their time to watch my film and really evaluate my talent. A lot of kids don't get those opportunities."
Specifically on the Ole Miss offer, Brice believes this notice from the SEC is an honor. He has plans to get to Ole Miss sometime this summer for a visit as well.
"It means a lot," Brice said. "Been working hard for a long time. Glad someone finally took notice. Very blessed with the opportunity to play at the next level at a big time program."
During his sophomore season in 2022, Brice put up 850 receiving yards and six touchdowns.
