With the NFL combine now in full swing, players are busy with personal interviews, on-field workouts, and media sessions throughout the week.
One quarterback who has a lot to prove ahead of April's draft is Texas Longhorns quarterback Quinn Ewers. After leading the Longhorns to the College Football Playoff semifinals, Ewers is expected to throw this weekend.
Ewers has already completed several interviews. During one of them, he opened up about his conversation with the Pittsburgh Steelers and head coach Mike Tomlin, a team that could be eyeing a quarterback in the draft.
In an interview with CBS Sports, Ewers shared some details about his exchange with Tomlin, revealing that his most unique questions focused on his major at Texas and his GPA, which Ewers then announced was around a 3.3 or 3.4.
"It was great, getting to talk to Coach Tomlin and just get to know him a little bit and him get to know me," Ewers said. "It was funny, we started talking about my major—physical culture in sports. He wanted to know what it is, what my final GPA was... it was around 3.3, 3.4ish. He just wrote it down in his notebook."

This comes as news, as Texas often publicly disclosed Ewers' GPA during his time at the university, and little information has been available on that front since he declared for the draft.
Nonetheless, Ewers is currently projected as a potential Day 2, or even early Day 3 pick, which is a drastic change from his projection at the beginning of the season, where he was seen as one of the top QB's in the class.
Despite a significant drop in his draft stock, he still threw for 3,472 yards, 31 touchdowns, and just 12 interceptions, while completing 65.8% of his passes during his final year at Texas, which ended in a heartbreaking defeat to Ohio State in the Cotton Bowl.
