Jayne Kamin-Oncea-USA TODAY Sports

UCLA football has been on a war path of recruiting visits over the last few weekends. One of the big names the Bruins hosted last weekend was Hayden Lowe, a four-star edge rusher from Oaks Christian High School in West Lake Village.

UCLA extended an offer to Lowe in May of 2023 and hosted him for the first official visit of a packed dance card for this summer. He has official visits scheduled for Georgia, Miami, Oregon, Texas, Washington, and USC between now and June 21st.

He has already met with UCLA staff, which left an impression on him. “I like UCLA and they’re just down the street from me,” Lowe said. “I’m excited about the new staff and what they’re building so I’m looking forward to getting up there.

In eight games as a junior at Oaks Christian High School, Lowe racked up 29 tackles, seven for loss and two sacks, and seven hurries, per MaxPreps.

Rivals.com ranks Lowe as the 10th-best edge rusher prospect in the 2025 class.
