It's Recruiting Roundup time as we wind down May and get ready for summer. Things start with a Cincinnati basketball offer for 2028 guard Trey Edwards out of Melissa (Texas).

There are no major 2028 rankings yet but Edwards has 10 offers already from schools like Missouri and Mississippi State at 6-foot-4, 175 pounds.

We move to an offer for guard KJ Perry out of Citrus Community College.

He posted 17.5 PPG on 50% shooting last season at CCC. Perry is 6-foot-3 and could be a strong option to help fill out the rest of the 2025-26 roster. The freshman has full four-year eligibility remaining as long as the current NCAA ruling stands.

We close the hoops chatter with an offer for four-star 2026 guard Brandon Bass Jr. out of Windermere (Florida).

According to 247Sports, Bass is the 56th-best player nationally and the eighth-best shooting guard. He is the son of former NBA player Brandon Bass.

The 6-foot-4, 185-pound talent holds 13 offers from schools like Florida State and Houston. Check out his highlights here.

We move to a local football offer for 2028 Taft (Ohio) athlete Lorenzo McMullen Jr. from the football side.

There are no major 2028 rankings as Cincinnati gets to work early on the local talent. He holds nine offers at 6-foot-2, 170 pounds from schools like Kentucky and Indiana. Check out his highlights here.

Sticking with the Taft offers, Cincinnati is also interested in 2027 wide receiver Monsanna Torbert.

He is not ranked on a major service at 6-foot, 160 pounds, and holds 12 offers from schools like Maryland and Iowa. Check out his highlights here.
