The Detroit Lions beat the Los Angeles Rams 24-23 on Sunday night to advance in the playoffs for the first time since 1991.
That means the Reds move into a spot that no team wants to be in. Cincinnati hasn't advanced in the postseason since 1995, which is the longest drought in the four major sports.
The Dolphins (2000) are the next closest team. The White Sox (2005) are the closest MLB team.
The Reds hope to break the streak this season. They have a young, talented roster and added multiple veteran free agents over the past few months.
