Cincinnati men's basketball is reportedly adding French big man Halvin Dzellat to the program. Bearcat Journal's Chad Brendel broke the news while noting he will redshirt this coming season and play with the team in 2025-26.

He recently suited up in FIFA U20 Eurobasket and averaged 8 points and 4.4 rebounds across seven games. The 6-10 forward also played for Lille in the France ProB league this past season (6.1 points per game in 19.1 minutes).

Cincinnati has not added an official American recruiting commitment for the 2025 class, but Dzellat could be a strong start.
