Inter Milan are reportedly reluctant to sell defender Benjamin Pavard this summer despite a fair bit of transfer interest.
This according to Italian broadcaster SportMediaset, via FCInterNews.
Inter Milan signed Benjamin Pavard from Bayern Munich two years ago. And while he has made a big impact, there is a feeling that his form suffered a definite drop-off last season.
Furthermore, the Frenchman will turn thirty next campaign.
Therefore, there has been a nagging sense that this may be the right time for Inter to cash in.
Meanwhile, Galatasaray are reportedly eyeing up a deal to sign Pavard. Big-spending Saudi Pro League club have also sounded out a move.
Then, two destinations in Ligue 1 have emerged in the form of Lille and Marseille.
According to SportMediaset, however, Inter are not very keen to sell Pavard.
The Nerazzurri have considered the possibility. However, losing the Frenchman would mean a big hole in their squad in defense.
Accordingly, Mediaset predict, Inter are not going to push Pavard out the door.
The 29-year-old remains an important player for the Nerazzurri on the right side of their back three.
