Report: Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid Ready To Bid For Defedner Dubbed The Next 'Virgil Van Dijk'

Liverpool, Arsenal and Real Madrid look set to battle it out for 19 year old Hungarian Attila Szalai.

Who is Attila Szalai?

Currently at Turkish team Fenerbache, the centre-back has caught the eye across Europe after impressing at u21 level and is now in the first team for both club and country.

Szalai is a strong, tall and surprisingly quick centre-back that has lots of potential. 

With the likes of Joel Matip and Joe Gomez always plagued with injuries. Jurgen Klopp may be looking to bring a new, younger centre-back in at some point.

LFCTR Verdict

Getting someone like Szalai wouldn't do any harm to Liverpool. The defender is valued at £17m but with the potential he has it is probably worth a punt. 

It would probably be better to get him this Summer and loan him out to get more first team experience. 

Who better for Szalai to learn off that the best centre-back in the world, Virgil Van Dijk.
