Cincinnati basketball's top rival will have a new coach next season. The Austin American-Statesman's Cedric Golden reported Texas is moving on from head coach Rodney Terry and swiftly hiring Xavier's Sean Miller.

Miller has been at Xavier for the past three seasons after coaching there from 2004-09 to start his head coaching run at the D1 level. He is 2-1 against Cincinnati in the Crosstown Shootout since returning to Norwood, making it to two NCAA Tournaments.

Texas moved fast to get a deal done with Miller ahead of tomorrow's transfer portal opening start date.
