Report – Talks Between Inter Milan & Santos Over Argentina Flop Hit Unexpected Standstill

Negotiations between Inter Milan and Santos over the transfer of Tomas Palacios have reportedly reached an impasse.

According to Brazilian outlet UOL Esporte via FCInterNews, Palacios has received an enticing offer from another Italian club.

Though it looked like a done deal, Tomas Palacios may not join Santos after all.

Indeed, he was on his way to returning to South America on a season-long loan.

Furthermore, Inter have already sanctioned the agreement.

However, the transfer is now in jeopardy.

There have been no second thoughts from Santos or Inter.

Yet, the 22-year-old has doubts after receiving an offer from an unnamed Serie A club.

Indeed, this sudden development threatens to undermine the deal.

Meanwhile, Santos are reluctant to give up on their pursuit of the former Independiente Rivadavia defender.

However, time is an issue, with the deadline fast approaching.

Therefore, the Brazilians may not wait for long as the Inter flop takes time to evaluate the other proposal.
