Richfield is the No. 1 seed in Section 6AAA, and Wednesday night was its first round game against nine-seed Westonka. There were just under 15 minutes remaining in the second half at the time of the play, so the decision to end the game made sense.
Richfield is now 24-2 this season, and it will face either Delano or Academy of Holy Angels on Saturday afternoon for a trip to the section final on the line. This is a developing story.
