Now, sacked Red Bull driver, Perez, opens up about redeeming his struggles in the earlier seasons before joining Cadillac.

Valtteri Bottas hadn’t kept the matter of his joining Cadillac completely secretive, as he teased his move a few months back on social media. Sergio Perez was also rumored to be in extended talks to join the team, but he hadn’t teased any such moves. However, Cadillac has officially confirmed that both drivers are joining the team, and the fans cannot be any happier than seeing the known and loved faces come back.

Sergio Perez brings extended years of experience in Formula 1 and massive financial backing from Mexico. Perez recalled his previous comments while being snubbed by Red Bull, where he teased the fans that they would meet him again. The Mexican reassured that his return to racing isn’t only for himself but also for his family, his friends, and the millions of others who hope for his success.

Now, the Mexican asserted that he wasn’t back alone this time; the roar of an entire nation of Mexico returned with him. Perez insisted that the strength of a continent returned with him alongside the millions of hearts of other fans.

The Cadillac F1 team will join Formula 1 with the new regulations of the 2026 season. The team will also temporarily run with Ferrari power units until they create their own. As such, there will be massive expectations on Sergio Perez and Valtteri Bottas to lead the outfit effectively and score well. Perez is confident in his capabilities to emerge successful with the all-American outfit.

Sergio Perez asserted that it was an honor to be part of building a new team and developing it at the same time in Formula 1. Perez insisted that the team would fight at the front and come up as a winning force.
