  • Roxanne Perez hit CM Punk with a Pop Rox; despite interference, Punk, Sami Zayn and PENTA still won.
  • TNA's Joe Hendry surprised the crowd in Manchester and defeated The Miz in his open-challenge match.
  • Multiple title defenses took place; Flair & Bliss beat Perez/Rodriguez, Wyatt Sicks and Giulia retained.

WWE Superstars seem like they are having fun in Manchester, England. The promotion held a live event on Tuesday, August 26, and even though it wasn’t televised, the event didn’t seem to disappoint. The event included a surprise appearance by TNA favorite Joe Hendry, and Judgment Day’s Roxanne Perez attacked CM Punk.

Roxanne Perez Attacks CM Punk In Main Event

As per Fightful, the main event at the Manchester Live Event was Judgment Day (Dominik Mysterio, JD McDonagh, and Finn Balor) versus CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and PENTA. During the match, while Raquel Rodriguez distracted the referee, Roxanne Perez hit Punk with a Pop Rox, and Mysterio went for the pin, but Punk kicked out. Even though the ladies of Judgment Day tried to help, Punk, Zayn, and PENTA still won the main event.

Earlier in the show, Perez and Rodriguez were unsuccessful in regaining the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles from Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss. Flair and Bliss defeated Perez and Rodriguez at SummerSlam to become the new champions.

Anyway, it’s no secret that Punk and Perez are close friends. Since his WWE return, he has been a mentor of sorts to her. One of those reasons is that Perez is not only a fan of the former WWE World Heavyweight Champion, but also of his wife, AJ Lee.

Joe Hendry Surprises The Crowd And Miz

Not only was TNA star Joe Hendry at the live event, but he was also in a match against The Miz. He had answered Miz’s open challenge, which didn’t work out for The Miz in the end. Hendry ended up winning the match. This was the first singles match between the two. Both were part of the 2025 Men’s Royal Rumble. Since WWE and TNA’s partnership, Hendry has been making his rounds in both promotions. One of his last WWE appearances was on the August 12 episode of NXT, when he defeated Charlie Dempsey.

Other matches that happened on Tuesday night included: The Usos teaming with Jacob Fatu and defeating MFT (Solo Sikoa, JC Mateo, Tonga Loa), the WWE Tag Team Champions, The Wyatt Sicks retaining their titles against Rey Fenix and LA Knight, and WWE United States Women’s Champion Giulia retaining her title against Zelina Vega.

This Friday’s SmackDown, ahead of Sunday’s Clash in Paris PLE, will be taking place at the LDLC Arena in Lyon, France. Several title matches will be happening during the show, including the United States Title.
