RWE took care of business on Saturday night with a 88-67 win over the City Reapers that moved them just a game out of third place in the standings. Parker Robinson was absolutely lights out to start the new year, scoring a career-high 28 points on an absurd 6-for-9 shooting from three point range

Taylen Kinney logged his third double-double of the year with 14 points and a career-best 13 assists which ties him for the sixth most assists in a game in OTE history. In Javon Bardwell’s first game with RWE he made quite the impression scoring nine points and pulling down a team-high eight boards in 25 minutes of work

For the City Reapers, Jeremy Jenkins continued to be the team’s leading scorer, putting up 19 points to go along with five boards and three blocks. In Jaylan Mitchell’s first game at OTE, he put together a nice little stat line of eight points and seven boards which included five offensive rebounds

The YNG Dreamerz did what they do best, squeezing the life out of the Diamond Doves with a 99-84 demolition in the second game on Saturday evening. Isaac Ellis has scored 20+ points in every game this season, continuing the streak tonight with 35 points to go alongside four rebounds and five assists

Caleb Jones hit the 20+ point threshold as well tonight, scoring 24 points while also making a major impact on the defensive end with four steals. Matt Allen continued his hot streak into the new year with 18 points tonight which complemented his 12 boards nicely

For the Diamond Doves, Jacob Williford led the way with 17 points as the team is still trying to find its way with the loss of Javon Bardwell to RWE. The lone returning player from last year’s Doves team Anthony Granger had a nice well-rounded line of 17 points, ten boards and five assists ️
