Ryan Williams Posts Cryptic Message After Jaylen Mbakwe’s Departure From Alabama

The college football transfer portal is jam-packed with talent from all over the country.

On Monday, five-star Alabama freshman cornerback Jaylen Mbakwe decided to enter the portal in a bit of a surprising move.

Mbakwe was the No. 12 player in the 2024 class per 247Sports' composite rankings, and he had 15 tackles and an interception in his first college season.

So, Mbawke's decision to enter is a big blow for Alabama.

To make matters worse, rumors swirled about Alabama's standout wide receiver Ryan Williams after some interesting social media activity.

After Mbakwe entered the portal on Monday, Williams took to Instagram with a cryptic post.

Williams posted a photo with Mbakwe with the caption that read, " Bingo we got action."

The caption had a target and an elephant emoji After the post by Williams, fans also had no idea what this post meant.

"Sounds like he’s gone too," one fan said.

"?????" another replied.

"I’m guessing it means bama matched whatever offer Mbakwe got to enter the portal," said another.

Williams and Mbakwe are co-hosts of "The New Wave" podcast and are very close friends, so the post by Williams sure raises plenty of eyebrows.

On top of that, it was reported by Charlie Potter that Mbakwe was offered a huge NIL deal in the portal, so there are plenty of rumors involving the Alabama stars.

Some even mentioned Williams potentially entering the portal after Mbakwe's decision and Williams' IG post.

Nonetheless, there are plenty of things to keep an eye on in Tuscaloosa.
