Keoni Snipes is a prospect who has been generating a lot of buzz as of late.
Snipes is a rising sophomore, who attends Saraland High School in Alabama, and he holds offers from Auburn, Nebraska, Georgia Tech and others.
The 6-foot-6, 240-pound athlete attended a prospect camp on the campus of the University of Alabama earlier this week and provided his thoughts on the camp and conversations with Alabama’s coaching staff to Touchdown Alabama.
“It was a great experience just being in Tuscaloosa,” Snipes said. “I had the opportunity to meet some position coaches and go through drills that the players participate in. What stood out the most was how the coaches were very detailed and explained how I would fit into their defensive scheme.”
The Saraland product flashed an ability to bend during his camp performance in front of the Tide’s outside linebacker coach Christian Robinson. It was a memorable camp performance for him, and he wants to get back to Tuscaloosa to visit as his recruitment moves forward.
“I definitely plan on visiting Alabama in the future,” Snipes told Touchdown Alabama. “I feel I competed at a high level against many top prospects in the nation. I loved the atmosphere in general and how the coaches treated the players during the camp.”
