SEC announces 2025-26 Mississippi State men's basketball conference schedule

On Tuesday, the SEC announced its slate of conference games for the upcoming women’s basketball season. On Wednesday, they announced the men’s basketball schedule.

Mississippi State will open SEC play in the upcoming season on the road against Texas on January 3. Game times and broadcast information will be announced at a later date for all games.

The 18-game conference schedule for the Bulldogs will feature at least one game against each of the other 15 SEC teams and will have home-and-home series against Alabama, Missouri and Ole Miss.

All nine of the Bulldogs’ home SEC opponents, and six of the eight road opponents, played in the 2025 NCAA Tournament. The SEC Tournament will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville from March 11-15 where the Bulldogs have won at least one game on eight straight occasions dating back to the 2016-17 season.

Mississippi State is coming off its third-straight season with 20 or more wins under Chris Jans and third-straight NCAA Tournament appearance.
