Senegal will take on Sudan this Saturday, Jan. 3, at 8:00 a.m. PT, 11:00 a.m. ET, at Grand Stade de Tanger, for the Round of 16 of the Africa Cup of Nations.

The group stage has finally come to an end, and AFCON has now entered the knockout stage. Senegal finished as the leader of Group D with seven points after three matches, with a record of two wins, one draw, and no losses.

For its part, Sudan finished in third place in Group E with only three points after three games, and a record of one win and two losses.

Sadio Mane's national team arrives in good spirits for this match, having won its last group stage game 3-0 against Benin on Dec. 30. In contrast, Sudan lost 2-0 to Burkina Faso on Dec. 31.
