Sequential Royal Flush Wins Big Jackpot Just Before The New Year

Talk about ending the year on a high note. Two lucky winners hit substantial jackpots just days before New Year’s Eve.

Both wins happened at the Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa in Las Vegas. The Red Rock Casino Resort & Spa is about a 10-mile drive northwest of the Las Vegas Strip.

The first big win occurred on Dec. 23 when a gambler, who wishes to remain anonymous, won more than $44,000 on video poker with the rarest hand in the game.

The person bet $1.25 and ended up with a sequential royal flush. A sequential royal flush is when the cards are dealt to the player in order from left to right. Now, the player is $44,725 richer.

To get a royal flush, a player needs to get an ace, king, queen, jack, and 10 in the same suit. This player won with a royal flush in diamonds.

The odds of landing this elusive combination are about 1 in 650,000.

Second Big Jackpot Won at Red Rock

Five days later, another gambler hit a jackpot at the same casino, taking home over $28,000.

The player bet $45 on a game and won $28,299 on a slot machine. The casino posted a picture of the winning machine moments after the player, who also wished to remain anonymous, hit their big win.
