Many legendary NBA players like Magic Johnson, Michael Jordan, and Shaquille O’Neal have made a fortune during and after retiring from the sport. However, nobody spends money and enjoys life like the decorated center O’Neal. The former NBA on TNT analyst is a different breed. He enjoys his life to the fullest, spends money as much as he wants, donates it to the community, and whatnot.

Giving a glimpse into O’Neal’s lavish life was none other than Candace Parker (on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show), his co-analyst on the Inside the NBA show. The retired WNBA star joined TNT’s coverage team this past season and developed a strong on-screen chemistry with O’Neal and the likes of Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith.

Since Parker and O’Neal have quite a friendly bond, she did not hold back against the former Los Angeles Laker. The decorated WNBA player revealed on the Jimmy Kimmel Live show that her trip on O’Neal’s private jet was her ‘first and last one.’ Parker also spoke about the hilarious events on the jet in detail on the show, leaving the audience in a burst of laughter.

I was new to the team, and we were in North Carolina doing a shoot. [Shaq] was like, ‘I’m going to LA, just hop on my PJ.’ And I’m like, ‘Okay, that beats getting in line at Delta’ … So I hop on his PJ, this dude DJ’d on full blast for four hours and 38 minutes. And then proceeded in the last 35 minutes to fall asleep and snore louder than the music.

Candace Parker said hilarously on the Jimmy Kimmel Live Show

Although the four-time NBA champion has gained notoriety as a DJ in recent years, he doesn’t mix just any music. The legendary Lakers player has a preference for Electronic Dance Music, or EDM, which is notoriously noisy and disruptive. Even though Parker was aware that she wouldn’t be going back to Shaq’s private jet, it’s difficult to quarrel with her choice from the outside.

Despite Parker’s recent remarks about O’Neal, she immediately made it clear on the show that she has nothing but love and respect for the former NBA player. As for Parker, she currently holds the position of Adidas Women’s Basketball President.

Shaquille O’Neal was upset with the Lakers’ $10 billion sale

Selling one of the NBA’s most decorated franchises is no joking matter. For the Los Angeles Lakers’ former owner, Jeanie Buss and family, it was like cutting a piece of cake. That is because the Buss family sold the Los Angeles Lakers to the LA Dodgers’ owner, Mark Walter, for a reported sum of $10 billion.

The sale came out of the blue, and no one expected the Buss family to sell the iconic franchise. This particularly left former Laker, Shaquille O’Neal, upset, but why? O’Neal provided an explanation regarding this matter on the Big Podcast.

The Lakers got sold for $10 billion, and I ain’t get no Douly. I ain’t get no brand-new Escalade. I ain’t get nothing, dog.

Shaquille O’Neal said on his podcast

With an estimated $10 billion in value, Walter’s buy surpasses even the Boston Celtics’ $6.1 billion deal earlier this year as the most costly franchise sale in American sports history. O’Neal, on the other hand, seemed to be joking about this on his show, but he wanted to be involved in this deal. The retired player stated that he should have gotten at least $50 million out of this deal.

Shaquille O’Neal made a hilarious revelation regarding Jeanie Buss

The Hall of Famer further spoke about Jeanie Buss on his podcast. It was more like a hilarious jab at her after securing a record-breaking deal for the Lakers. Shaq continued as usual, saying that the opportunity for a possible financial incentive might have already closed. He made a joke about possibly never seeing Jeanie Buss again.

Jeanie Buss… you probably won’t never see her again. She probably gonna be on that spaceship with Elon Musk after that.

Shaquille O’Neal said on the Big Podcast

Together with the late great Kobe Bryant , Shaq created one of the most formidable duos in NBA history with the Los Angeles Lakers. To begin the twenty-first century, the superstar duo guided the Lakers to a hat-trick of championships. Regardless of who owns the Lakers franchise, the contributions of O’Neal remains etched in history.
