The Cleveland Browns' ongoing OTAs (Organized Team Activities) have given the franchise's young players a chance to hone and show off their talents in front of Kevin Stefanski's coaching staff.

Former Colorado quarterback Shedeur Sanders is among the Browns' most noticeable rookies so far during OTAs as he continues to vie for attention and reps among a quarterback room packed tightly with veterans and younger players.

On Wednesday, Sanders caught the attention of a Cleveland area reporter with nearly 30 years of experience, who had a stark message for Dawg Pound fans as he witnessed a noticeable improvement from Sanders in one crucial area.

"You can tell Shedeur Sanders has been putting in work on his mechanics," Cleveland based reporter Daryl Ruiter of 92.3 The Fan in Cleveland said on X.

"Noticeable difference to me in how he threw theball today v rookie minicamp.

"Looked more fluid and a lot of tight spirals today. #Browns," Ruiter added

Sanders has been heavily scrutinized since setting foot on the Browns' practice field for rookie minicamp, along with fellow newcomers Mason Graham and Dillon Gabriel among others.

The Browns aren't counting on Sanders to start this season, but Stefanski made it clear to the former Buffaloes star that he has an opportunity in front of him that he would be wise to take advantage of in the coming days, weeks, and months.

Sanders was projected as a top five pick for much of the 2024 college football season before slipping to the fifth round (144th overall) of the 2025 NFL draft.

He will fight for playing time with Gabriel, veteran Joe Flacco and others as the Browns continue to prepare for the 2025-26 NFL season.
