Skip Bayless predicts Ravens beating Cowboys in Super Bowl LVIII
Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Skip Bayless has made his Super Bowl LVIII prediction. While he expects the Dallas Cowboys to return to the promise land, he believes they’ll fall one win short of getting a ring.

Or, at least that’s what he’s saying to avoid a jinx.

In a recent episode of Undisputed, Bayless predicted the Baltimore Ravens to defeat the Cowboys in Super Bowl LVIII. But his projection might not have been as authentic as some might think.

“Last night, I went completely over the edge because, I’m saying, this team is as loaded as it’s ever been,” Bayless said. “This team won the offseason. … Why can’t this team win it all?”

But Bayless, a known Cowboys fan, said he doesn’t want to “jinx” his favorite team by picking them to win it all. So, instead, he’s putting his money on the Baltimore Ravens.

Although Dallas has sights set on winning a Super Bowl, just getting to the game would be a step in the right direction for the franchise.

The Cowboys have put up 12-5 records in back-to-back seasons under Mike McCarthy. However, the postseason runs have been short. Dallas made multiple coaching staff changes in the offseason in an effort to make a Super Bowl run.

Micah Parsons predicts Super Bowl run for Cowboys

Cowboys star linebacker Micah Parsons is also tired of his team not reaching the Super Bowl. Heading into 2023, he says he wants to lead his team to the biggest game in the NFL.

“I can’t wait for mine,” Parsons said, via Jon Machota of The Athletic. “I’ve only been here two years and I’m tired of watching. I feel like each year I’ve been here, I had a team that’s capable. I didn’t walk into a bad organization with bad talent. My first year, we lost to the [San Francisco] 49ers because we were undisciplined. We had so many penalties. Offsides and we were about to get the ball back. We got a defensive holding on the d-lineman. That’s non-football. That’s not football related.

“We missed our opportunities last year with the dropped picks and stuff. I don’t even blame the offense, bro. Self reflection. People don’t want to do that. It’s so easy to blame [someone else]. What didn’t I do?”

The Cowboys last won a Super Bowl in 1995, so it’s been nearly three decades. It’s a drought everyone in Dallas is hoping to put to an end.
