Sources: Miles Kelly Agrees to Two-Way Contract with Dallas Mavericks

The Dallas Mavericks have agreed to a two-way contract with former Auburn guard Miles Kelly, sources confirm to DallasHoopsJournal.com.

Kelly, a 6-foot-6 senior, played a key role in Auburn’s 32-5 season, including a run to the Final Four. After transferring from Georgia Tech, he brought veteran scoring and floor spacing to a deep Tigers roster.

In 38 appearances (36 starts), Kelly averaged 11.3 points, 3.7 rebounds, and 1.0 steals in 28.2 minutes per game. He shot 40.6% from the field, 37.8% from three, and 90.9% at the free-throw line, establishing himself as one of the more impactful guards in the SEC.

Kelly had several standout performances during the 2024–25 season, including 30 points on 10-of-17 shooting from the floor and 9-of-14 from deep against Kentucky. He scored 23 points on 8-of-16 shooting from beyond the arc in Auburn’s NCAA Tournament opening-round win and 22 points on 5-of-9 from deep against Florida earlier in the season.

The Mavericks continue to prioritize high-IQ perimeter talent on two-way contracts. Kelly will be eligible to split time between the NBA roster and the G League’s Texas Legends as he works to develop into a full-time contributor.

As previously reported by DallasHoopsJournal.com, the Mavericks also signed Gonzaga point guard Ryan Nembhard to a two-way deal. Nembhard, who led the nation in assists and broke the West Coast Conference single-season record with 344 total assists, joins Kelly as part of Dallas’ two-way class.

Both guards are expected to participate in Summer League action, where they’ll look to make early impressions and compete for rotation consideration during the 2025–26 season.
