Sky Sport Italia reports that Conrad Harder is unlikely to undergo his medical tests with Milan before Thursday, as Sporting CP are waiting to welcome the striker’s replacement: Fotis Ioannidis.

Milan wait for Sporting CP green light for Harder medical

The Rossoneri, in fact, have agreed to pay €27m, including add-ons, to sign the 20-year-old Denmark international, but according to Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport Italia, Sporting CP are yet to allow their striker to travel to Italy for medical tests.

The Portuguese side are currently reviewing all the documents and have identified Panathinaikos FC captain Fotis Ioannidis as the heir to Harder.

However, they must wait for a Europa League playoff tie involving the Greek club on Thursday before completing the transfer.

Harder unlikely to be available for next Milan game

Milan are currently waiting for Sporting CP to give their green light and allow Harder to have his medical tests in Italy, but it is unlikely that they’ll welcome their new purchase before Thursday, August 28, on the eve of their Serie A match against Lecce.
