Midfielder Andy Diouf has already impressed with his athleticism in training, and looks ready to “transform” Inter Milan’s midfield.

Today’s print edition of Milan-based newspaper Gazzetta dello Sport, via FCInter1908, note how the Frenchman will give a new look to the Nerazzurri along with Petar Sucic.

Inter Milan only just completed the signing of midfielder Andy Diouf a few days ago.

It was a whirlwind process that saw the Nerazzurri rapidly advance in talks last Thursday. By Friday, Diouf was already an Inter player.

And the Frenchman has not wasted any time settling in at his new club.

The Gazzetta report that Diouf has been quickly acclimating in training over the weekend.

It has only been a couple of days of working in training for Diouf at Inter.

However, the 22-year-old has been eager to make an impact right away.

Therefore, reports the Gazzetta dello Sport, Diouf’s athleticism has immediately marked him out as a player who can give a different look to Inter’s midfield.

Furthermore, Diouf is not the only midfielder that Inter have signed this summer.

Petar Sucic, who is in the same age profile as Diouf, has also arrived from Dinamo Zagreb.

Therefore, the feeling is certainly that this season Inter’s midfield will have more athleticism and directness to it.
