Taylor Swift 'Concern' Reason She Skipped Bills-Chiefs Game: Report

On Sunday afternoon fans were left wondering why record-setting performer Taylor Swift didn't make the trip from Toronto to Buffalo to watch her Kansas City Chiefs star tight end boyfriend Travis Kelce face off against the Bills.

Swift is in Toronto putting the finishing touches on her lucrative Eras Tour, but her schedule lined up with being able to attend the game on Sunday afternoon at Highmark Stadium. Instead, she chose not to attend and now fans know why.

According to a report from Cosmopolitan's Mehera Bonner, Swift will only attend Chiefs home games due to security reasons.

"There was some speculation that Taylor might attend since she doesn't have an Eras Tour performance lined up today and was just in nearby Toronto," Bonner reported. "But a few things to note: 1) Taylor is reportedly only attending Chiefs home games in Kansas City due to security reasons. And on top of that, sports commentator Adam Lefkoe says she and the Kelce family didn't have the best time at last year's Chiefs vs. Bills game in Buffalo."

That lines up with what Page Six reported on Sunday afternoon as well, noting the security team's "concerns" for Swift.

"A source previously told Page Six that Swift had to miss the games due her busy tour schedule. They also stated that away games present security concerns for Swift’s team," Page Six reported.

It wasn't a bad game for Swift to miss. Kansas City suffered its first loss of the season in a 30-21 defeat at the hands of Josh Allen and the Bills.

Her boyfriend played one of the worst games of his career, managing just eight yards on two receptions.
