During Bill Belichick's tenure with the New England Patriots, there were a few phrases that he became very well known for. And one of those was "Do Your Job."

However, when he left New England, the Patriots retained the trademark to "Do Your Job."

So now, Jordon Hudson is taking a page out of Taylor Swift's playbook.

The 24-year-old girlfriend of the future Hall of Fame coach attempted to trademark Belichick's famous catchphrases, the New York Times reports

"By the spring, Ms. Hudson was focused on applying for a slew of trademarks for phrases associated with Mr. Belichick’s leadership of the Patriots, including “No Days Off,” and “Do Your Job” — presumably to parlay them into content and merchandising opportunities," the outlet wrote.

However, since those belonged to the Patriots, she simple added (Bill's Version) similar to how Swift added “(Taylor’s Version)” to regain control over her music.

Hudson applied for trademarks on:

  • "Bellestrator (Bill's Version)"
  • "Chapel Bill (Bill's Version)"
  • The Dynasty (Bill's Version)"
  • "No Days Off (Bill's Version)"
  • "Do Your Job" (Bill's Version)"
  • "Dynasty (Bill's Version)"

The couple have been all over the news lately, which began due to a controversial CBS Sunday Morning Interview. CBS's Tony Dokoupil asked Belichick how he and Hudson met during the interview. Hudson then walked straight into the interview and put an end to that line of questioning.

“We’re not talking about this,” she said.

There have been multiple reports since this, all with different claims regarding Hudson's involvement in Belichick's professional and personal affairs.

But, with this latest report, it certainly seems like she is more involved in the business side of things then they care to admit.
