Taylor Swift's New Heights appearance earns Guinness World Record in a way that makes perfect sense

Swift's appearance on the brother's popular New Heights podcast has officially set a record, pulling the most concurrent views for a podcast on YouTube with a total of 1.3 million on Aug. 13. As of Tuesday, Aug. 26, the podcast had been viewed 20 million times.

And it couldn't fit any better, considering it was 1.3 million views on Aug. 13, which goes right along with the singer's numerology, since her favorite number is 13.

For two hours, the trio talked about everything from Swift reclaiming her masters to her newfound love for the game of football, and even Travis Kelce's Eras Tour appearance. Oh and not to mention the singer announced her 12th studio album on the show.

Swift’s appearance on New Heights broke the internet, with the stream even going down during the live premiere of the show. Specifically, Front Office Sports posted numerous different numbers on Aug. 15, detailing the popularity of this particular episode.

It reportedly drew 379M views on Instagram, 61.6M views on X, 34.5M views on TikTok, and 1.3M live viewers. As of Aug. 20, the episode had just under 20 million views on YouTube. The episode stream even crashed in the middle of the live premiere of the episode, with New Heights passing 3 million followers on Instagram, along with 400K+ new YouTube subscribers. It was also the most concurrent podcast listeners ever.
