2026 four-star offensive lineman Brandon Anderson was committed to the Tennessee Vols from October 24, 2024 to January 27, 2025.
Anderson, 6-foot-4/320 lbs from Kennesaw, GA, is rated in 247Sports' composite rankings as the No. 28 interior offensive lineman in the nation and the No. 46 player in the state of Georgia.
The four-star offensive linemen decommitted from Tennessee earlier this winter because the Vols asked him to shut down his recruitment.
"So this is the reason I opened my recruitment back up," said Anderson after decommitting from Tennessee (via Noles 247). "I felt like I should have more opportunities. They (Tennessee) wanted me to shut down my recruitment after my OV with them. I didn't like that. I have more interest in other schools too. So I had to decommit and experience my high school time."
Tennessee has continued to recruit Anderson in the months since his decommitment. And the Vols have reportedly positioned themselves well to once again receive a commitment from Anderson.
On3's Steve Wiltfong noted that Anderson was back on Tennessee's campus this weekend for UT's 865 Live recruiting event. Wiltfong wrote that the Vols "remain the one to beat" in the battle for Anderson.
Wiltfong also made an On3 RPM prediction for the Vols to land a recommitment from Anderson.
Anderson is expected to announce his commitment on August 15. For now, Tennessee is scheduled to receive Anderson's final official visit (June 20).
