The Tennessee Vols announced on Tuesday that "Checker Neyland" will return for a home game in 2024.
According to a release from Tennessee, Checker Neyland will return for the Vols' game against the Florida Gators on October 12.
From Tennessee Athletics: #CheckerNeyland presented by Pilot takes center stage for the Vols' SEC home opener against Florida on Oct. 12. #CheckerNeyland showcases Tennessee's iconic checkerboard pattern through Neyland Stadium. This will be the eighth #CheckerNeyland in program history.
The last Checker Neyland game for the Vols came last season against the Texas A&M Aggies. Tennessee won that game 20-13, bringing the Vols' record to 3-4 in Checker Neyland games.

This will be the fourth Checker Neyland game between Florida and Tennessee (which includes the first ever Checker Neyland game in 2014).
