The Oklahoma Sooners are set to play their first-ever SEC game on Saturday, where ESPN College Gameday will be picking games with hopefully a host of Crimson behind them. The Sooners are set to play the Tennessee Volunteers, the No. 6 team in the country, while the Sooners sit at No. 15.

These two teams don’t play often, and haven’t played in a good bit, but, Oklahoma is 3-1 against the Vols all time, according to Tennessee’s school website. The last time the two teams played one another was in 2015, as the Sooners won that one and the two matchups before that.

But, just because the two teams don’t play often and aren’t rivals doesn’t mean there isn’t a lot of animosity towards one another. The two teams have been chirping at one another, and the matchup is starting to look like it could be a future rivalry. What one Tennessee player is saying on social media is only giving the Sooners more bulletin board material for Saturday.

The game is on Saturday, and Tennessee defensive back Boo Carter posted a timer, or countdown on his Instagram story, counting down the days till the game.

That’s fine and completely normal. But what he said with that timer is what will get Sooners players fired up.“B2A PART 4,” which means belt to ass, or in other words, a butt whooping, meaning they think they are going to whoop up on OU.

And, this is an SEC game, where anything could happen. So OU could very well go off, as could Tennessee. But, this wasn’t a great way to go about it, especially for a player who’s a freshman and really hasn’t done anything yet in his career, certainly not enough to talk the way he’s talking.

This will be interesting to watch.
