Tennessee Vols trolled the Texas Longhorns in the perfect way after win in SEC quarterfinals

The Tennessee Vols perfectly trolled the Texas Longhorns on Thursday evening. 

When Tennessee and Texas play each other (in any sport), it's inevitable that the "who is the real UT?" question will get asked. 

After the Vols' 7-5 win against the Longhorns in the SEC quarterfinals, the official Tennessee Twitter/X.com account sent out a tweet that simply said, "The University of Tennessee was founded in 1794". 

The University of Texas was founded nearly 100 years later, in 1883. 

Tennessee also became an official state 49 years before Texas. 

Regardless of any outcome in any athletic event, it's clear that Tennessee, by virtue of existing first, is "the real UT".
