The Texas Longhorns have high expectations once again entering the 2025-26 college football season. One reason why is there's no longer a veteran quarterback in the way of getting Arch Manning playing time. In the limited time we've seen the 5-star prodigy, he's looked every bit worthy of the hype that comes with being the nephew of Peyton Manning and Eli Manning.

Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian brought up how Arch Manning compares to his uncles with Kay Adams on the Up & Adams Show on FanDuel TV, and his comments were hilarious.

"What I love about him is his connection to his teammates. This guy gets along with everybody. Super competitive. He has way more swag than his uncles [Peyton and Eli]. He has the athleticism of his grandpa [Archie]."

The Manning family stands out as one of the most renowned dynasties in football history, with Archie Manning and his sons, Peyton and Eli, making a significant mark on the sport.

Archie Manning excelled as a quarterback at the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) before being picked second overall in the 1971 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. Although he played for teams that often struggled, he was celebrated for his athletic prowess, leadership, and determination. Manning devoted 11 seasons to the Saints (1971–1982) and finished his career with the Houston Oilers and Minnesota Vikings. Even without playing on a winning team, he earned two Pro Bowl selections and is remembered as a skilled quarterback who faced challenging circumstances.

Peyton Manning, the older son, enjoyed an illustrious career. Following a record-breaking stint at the University of Tennessee, he was selected first overall by the Indianapolis Colts in 1998. Over 18 seasons (1998–2015) with the Colts and Denver Broncos, he secured two Super Bowl victories, received five MVP awards, and broke numerous passing records. Renowned for his intelligence, precision, and leadership qualities, he retired as one of the NFL's greatest quarterbacks.

Eli Manning, drafted first overall in 2004 by the San Diego Chargers (who later traded him to the New York Giants), played in the league for 16 seasons (2004–2019). While his regular seasons were marked by inconsistency, he thrived in the playoffs, winning two Super Bowls and earning two Super Bowl MVP awards. Best known for his victories over the New England Patriots, he established himself as a clutch performer.

Together, the Mannings have left an indelible mark on football history through their talent, resilience, and championship achievements.
